Dr. Comer’s latest book, What I Learned in School: Reflections on Race, Child Development, and School Reform was published on October 12, 2009. Jossey-Bass publishes compilations of the writings of recipients of the Grawemeyer Award for Education.

Since 1985, the University of Louisville Grawemeyer Awards have recognized individuals and teams from all over the world for their innovative ideas. Dr. Comer received the Grawemeyer Award in 2007.
