Betty Pope named “Teacher of the Year” in Lexington, NC

Betty Pope, a 42-year veteran teacher at Charles England Intermediate School was named “Teacher of the Year” (http://www.the-dispatch.com/article/20090514/articles/905149996) in Lexington, North Carolina. Pope was featured in two SDP videos: Educator & Student Perspectives on Development and Balanced Curriculum. Grants from the U.S. Department of Education have supported the School Development Program’s work in the Lexington City Schools.
